New Cultural Studies
The book contains reflections on Polish humanities: postmodern, antipositivist, critical, engaged and in favour of what is considered marginal. The authors argue that it is vital to enliven posthumanities, which reject the existence of “the view from nowhere” and take into consideration the fact that each kind of scientific knowledge is linked to particular interests, ideologies and eschatologies. They also show how the trends in new humanities interpenetrate, co-creating transdisciplinary knowledge, focused on human problems.
Keywords: postmodern humanities, posthumanities in Poland, critical humanities.
