Prace Filologiczne. Literaturoznawstwo 12(15) 2022. Antologie i antologizowanie (PDF)

The issue is devoted to anthologising writing from its ancient origins to contemporary realisations. The articles show anthologising as a fundamental philological practice, which remains in close relation to historical-literary strategies and methodological issues of dynamically transforming literary studies. The authors’ texts are accompanied by questions about the relationship of anthologies to processes of reorientation and stereotyping of the canon, as well as about changes taking place in the content of anthologies, their audiences and their culture-forming functions. The issue also includes the voices of practitioners who have metareflected on the creation of anthologies based on their own research experiences.

The volume is complemented by a section entitled “Philological Benefits”, which includes studies about Norwid, literary competitions, modernist translation studies, nature writing and psychoanalysis.
