Fundamentals of law in the economy

The textbook is intended for students taking classes of the first law subject in management and also finance, accounting and insurance studies, i.e. "Fundamentals of Law in the Economy", taught at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw. The scope and structure also make the textbook a valuable source for learning the basics of law during management, administration, economics and related studies at other universities.

The book is designed to be an introduction to a block of legal subjects that refer to basic concepts and information on norms, regulations and how the law interacts in social and economic relations. Initial chapters are devoted to the introductory theoretical issues. The next part of the textbook focuses on the state system, which forms the framework for conducting business. On this basis, Chapters 5–14 present the primary institutions of public economic law in Poland. They deal with the constitutional foundations of the economy, the undertaking and conduct of the economic activity, the usage of resources in the production of products and services, and the protection of competition and liability in economic activity.
