The Influence of Melody and Rhythm on the Creation of Multivariate Perception of Auditory Scene Analysis. The Processing of Sounds into Perceptual Streams as Exemplified by Selected Musical Works
The presented book is devoted to the theoretical and practical aspects related to the classification and arrangement of sounds relating to perceptual streaming during the listener's perception of a piece of music. The author has attempted to analyse musical works in an innovative way, which takes into account the various perceptual aspects that may arise during the listening of a given piece, thus enabling the listener to interpret the music differently in the form of various variants. The book presents an analysis of works by the following composers: Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Franz Liszt and Antonio Vivaldi. The author has deliberately chosen compositions that may be familiar to both musicians and people without musical training.
